Hikers and cyclists are welcome at the Alphée hotel in Barèges, Hautes-Pyrénées.

THE LEGEND OF THE COLLAR OF TOURMALET: It is more than a century that Octave Lapize, was the first winner of the Tourmalet, at 2 115 meters in height.Since then, the Tour de France has passed more than 70 times at the top of the Tourmalet, which makes the Pyrenean pass the climb most often used by runners.
